This video was sent to us by a BlackVue user who wishes to remain anonymous.

The incident took place on a narrow road – the BlackVue user backed up, stopped and gave the incoming car with a caravan behind it both time and space to pass through. The car and caravan almost made it. Almost.

A premature turn resulted in a hit, taking the BlackVue user’s rear bumper, damaging the driver’s side of the car (we are in the UK!), as well as the tire and diamond cut alloy.

The fault of the caravan owner was obvious, but without the dashcam, there would be no proof. Fortunately, the BlackVue DR590W-1CH was recording and captured the incident in its entirety. Although no rear camera footage was available (due to the DR590W-1CH being a single channel dashcam), it’s clear what happened.
