Red at an intersection

BlackVue user was waiting in the lane going straight at an intersection. The lane on the right was either a go-straight or right-turn lane at the same time. Suddenly a white sedan cut in front of them – and after a few seconds of hesitation proceeded to run the red light. A moment later a taxi followed, turning right. It’s possible that the white sedan driver was pressured by the taxi driver to move, as the taxi tried to turn right at the intersection.

Impatient taxi driver?

This footage was captured in South Korea, where taxi drivers are known to be always in a hurry. They often signal with their headlights or even honk at the unsuspecting drivers in front of them. Still, running a red light – no matter how pressured we feel or how stressful the situation is – is not the best idea. You’d be not only breaking traffic laws, but also endangering yourself and those around you.
