Important:
Make sure to use the latest versions of the BlackVue Viewer and App for full compatibility when installing a new firmware version.
How to upgrade:
With the BlackVue App, you can easily update the firmware from the Camera menu. Tap the three-dot icon "..." next to your camera's name, then tap on "Remote firmware update".
For a manual installation, go to the DOWNLOADS page to access the latest firmware and installation instructions.

Version 1.007 (2024-04-15):
- Improved Parking Mode "impact detected" audio alert. The "Impact detected in Parking Mode" audio alert will now play upon starting Normal recording mode even in case the dash cam turns off after entering Parking Mode due to either low voltage power cutoff (for battery protection) or power cable disconnection.
- Fixed an issue where Live View via the BlackVue App would stop working after trying to access the rear camera's Live View when the rear camera was not connected.
- Stability improvements.

Parking Mode impact voice notification improvements:
When using ignition-triggered Parking Mode (when hardwired), the BlackVue will ignore the impact Events that occur within 3 minutes of entering Parking Mode.
No change to the behavior of the accelerometer-based Parking Mode, which activates after the vehicle is stationary for 5 minutes.
