Downgrading Firmware (Older Versions)

Sometimes a specific setup works better on an earlier version. Before downgrading, know three things:

1. Security and stability: older firmware may lack the latest security patches, Cloud stability fixes, or support for newer microSD architectures. We recommend the latest version unless a specific bug is confirmed.
2. The point of no return: some newer models ("X Plus" and "LTE" series) cannot downgrade below a certain threshold — a built-in integrity protection. Contact us with your model to confirm eligibility.
3. Manual only: downgrades cannot be done over the air. You'll need the SD card method with the older firmware file, which we provide on request.
