Seamless Pairing is a feature making connecting to your dashcam easy in compatible BlackVue models (mostly the BlackVue X and X Plus Series). But what about the older dashcam models, that don’t support the feature?

We prepared a short video tutorial that will show you, step by step, how to connect your dashcam with the BlackVue App on your phone. The BlackVue dashcam models this tutorial is for are: the DR900S Series, the DR750S Series, the DR650S Series, the DR650GW Series, the DR590X Series, the D590W Series and other Wi-Fi-enabled models.

To summarize, the best way to connect your dashcam with the BlackVue app is to:
1. Connect to your dash cam from your phone’s Wi-Fi networks menu.
2. Open the BlackVue App and select “Connect to camera”.
3. Select “Connect without BT”.

Your dash cam will be added to the dash cams list, which means next time you want to connect, you can directly do so from the BlackVue App’s “Connect to camera” menu. No need to connect to the dash cam first via the Wi-Fi Networks menu of your phone.
