BlackVue user GC4217 came back to his vehicle parked at the local shopping center to find damage down the passenger’s side of the car and no note left.

BlackVue DR750S-1CH (available here) informed him of an event detected in Parking Mode and this is how he discovered what happened – a rather poor handling of the shopping carts by the employees.

Contacting the shopping center about the incident didn’t result in any kind of resolution, so the BlackVue Customer proceeded the case through his own insurance company. He showed them the BlackVue footage and the insurer was able to place the blame on the shopping cart company and waive any liability, which saved the BlackVue Customer around $875 excess.
