Aggressive van driver

BlackVue user Dean is a driving instructor and he was out on a lesson with his pupil. At some point he looked in the mirror and noticed that a white van behind them crashed into the railings on the side of the road.

After the finished lesson when they parked, the van driver – agitated – came up to them and said that the learner driver made him crash his van! Dean tried to explain that the crashing had nothing to to with them, but the other driver kept being aggressive and angry. Finally, he took a photo of Dean’s car and his license plate number – and then he tried to claim through Dean’s insurance that the learner driver swerved across the road and he had to crash his van into the railings to avoid hitting them.

Dean sent the footage of both front and back recorded by his BlackVue dash cam to show that they did not, indeed swerve and once the insurance company saw the video, the case was closed within minutes.
