Having a dashcam recording in Parking Mode can be extremely important.

BlackVue user DLRJ1976 sent us this footage from his 4-channel setup (two 4K UHD BlackVue dashcams). The dashcams were recording in Parking Mode and captured an unbelievable collision.

The driver who crashed into BlackVue user’s parked car tried to put the blame on other drivers, but the BlackVue footage showed exactly what happened. As it turned out, the van driver was not only not insured, but they were also unlicensed.

They received a hefty ticket for driving without a license and the damages to the victim’s car had to be covered by his own policy. The footage was a useful tool to the police as it helped understand the situation better.
