An extremely dangerous situation was caught on a BlackVue dash cam and shared with us by our Customer Allen. The dash cam was an older single camera model.

Driving on the wrong side

Allen’s wife Melinda, who was driving the car, encountered a white Hyundai Sonata speeding at 135 MPH� on the wrong side of the highway. Melinda managed to avoid colliding with the car, but she was worried about other drivers behind, who were on the curve. She hoped they were bracing themselves and paying attention.

As it turns out, the driver of the white car, David Bordak (21), was a suspect running from the police. He was arrested some time later as he crashed into a lifeguard stand. The police report stated that the Hyundai had suffered “heavy damage due to the collision, including airbag deployment.”

Multiple charges for the suspect

The driver was charged with multiple offences, such as driving under the influence, use of license plate on a vehicle other than the vehicle for which plate was issued, receiving stolen goods of $2,000 or less, financial transaction card theft and many more. Police also confirmed that he had several other active warrants against him at the time of his arrest.
