A reminder of dash cams’ usefulness

I was on my way to work heading North on the FDR Drive in New York City when I saw in my rear view a red SUV quickly closing in behind me.
The SUV switches lanes to pass me without a turn signal. A speeding Dodge Charger tried to pass at the same time and the two vehicles collided.
This was a scary scene as I saw the accident in my rear view mirror. In these moments you realize how important a dash cam can be. It’s your silent witness when the unexpected occurs! Thanks.

Given the circumstances, the BlackVue user was not able to stop and help, so we can only speculate on the aftermath of the accident.
However, one can only imagine the headache the two involved drivers must’ve got trying to sort it out, especially if none of them had a dash cam installed.
