This road rage video was submitted to us by a BlackVue Customer Scott. He is a victim of a classic road rage that turned into an expensive ($2,400 worth of repairs!) act of vandalism.

The pickup driver was angry that Scott apparently “cut him off” (which evidenced by the footage was not the case). He got out of the car and started to threaten Scott – at this point Scott decided to drive off to avoid confrontation with the pickup driver. To cool off, he stopped at Walmart to grab some groceries… and was shocked to find obscene words scratched into the side of his Subaru!
Thankfully he had a BlackVue DR750S-2CH (available for purchase here on our website) camera installed in his car and running in Parking Mode. Upon a quick inspection of the recorded video he confirmed that indeed, it was the Chevy pickup driver who drove up to his car, stopped next to it and scratched the words with some sharp object. Although you cannot actually see him doing it, the sounds are very clearly audible.

The damage was estimated at over $2,000 and Scott issued a statement to the local police.
