While smartphones are obviously a constant (and important) part of our lives now, it’s important to understand WHEN not to use them. Crossing the road is one of these situations for sure!

It’s a good thing that BlackVue user Iskandar was alert and driving slowly that evening. He immediately stopped when he noticed a pedestrian crossing the road, despite unfavorable conditions.

From behind a parked vehicle…

The lady not only entered the road from behing a parked vehicle, but was looking at her phone the entire time, not paying attention to other cars. She seemed surprised when she noticed Iskandar’s car and after a moment of confusion, finally crossed the road. It’s always best to assume that unexpected can happen and be alert at all times when driving. Having a dash cam in case if something happened is a huge asset too.
