BlackVue DR490-2CH is a dual-channel dashcam that records both front and back or interior of your vehicle in Full HD 1080p. 

Inheriting the compact design of the DR470/430/450 models but its internal have received a performance upgrade.

Sony STARVIS sensor for great video under any light

The front camera of the DR490-2CH also gets the Sony STARVIS™ sensor from our DR490L-2CH.

This gives the DR490-2CH great capability for low-light recording. When driving at night, you will see the difference with a regular CMOS sensor dashcam: more details become visible. 

What about when the vehicle is parked at night, with headlights off?
When your vehicle is parked, Night Vision turns on by default as the dashcam switches to Parking Mode, which further enhances details in low light.

But don’t worry if your car is parked in bright daylight: Night Vision is smart enough not to activate when unnecessary.
