This intersection crash video was sent to us by an anonymous BlackVue user.
Important evidence
In the footage, recorded by a fullHD BlackVue dash cam (you can buy the DR750X-2CH Plus model here), we see the BlackVue user’s car t-boned by another vehicle. The other vehicle did not stop at the stop sign and the BlackVue user didn’t have enough time to react. The airbags deployed properly, but the BlackVue user and their passenger had to be rushed to the hospital immediately. Because they couldn’t give a statement themselves the police checked the BlackVue footage, which spoke for itself.
Other party at fault
The other driver’s insurance company denied responsibility. He claimed he didn’t rush the stop sign and he didn’t see any other cars. The other insurance company only admitted fault (100%) after receiving a copy of the dash cam footage. Although the accident happened over a year ago, the BlackVue user and their passenger still deal with the aftermath of their injuries – a herniated disc, pinched nerves, dislocated thumb…
Dash cam footage showed the truth
The BlackVue user told us: ” When they saw the video, they didn’t even question it. They said the video showed everything and showed the truth, it showed that what he was saying was not true and that it was not my fault. So it was a easy case since there’s no “he said or she said”because it was all caught on camera!”.
