A BlackVue user captured this absolutely crazy accident just days after he installed a dash cam in his car!

Running the red light

BlackVue user Putnam sent us this video his new BlackVue DR900X Plus dash cam recorded only 4 days after he installed it in his car. In the video, he was waiting at a red light, heading north. Suddenly, a white vehicle in front of him enters the intersection while the light was still red and immediately collided with a black SUV heading westbound. The SUV flipped at least three times before coming to a stop on the other side of the intersection. Thankfully, the SUV driver was okay and quickly cleared by the paramedics who arrived at the scene, notified by Putnam.

Footage shows what happened to the police

Putnam told us: “The video did help, especially the SUV driver. She is a younger driver and was very upset since she believed her light was green. The video was presented to law enforcement and then to her. She was appreciative to confirm she had a green light. Her Golden Retriever was also fine, he flew in the back seat, but was uninjured. ” Putnam even got an update a couple of days ago from the SUV driver – she and her doggo are doing well, which we are glad to hear!
