This BlackVue dash cam footage was captured earlier this year. BlackVue user Szabolcs, who sent us this video, was driving to a playground next town over with his whole family. Suddenly, they witnessed a crash of two cars on the other side of the road.

Turning left at a right-turn only

It looked like the VW Beetle was leaving the gas station area and tried to turn left – which, as you can see in the BlackVue footage, was forbidden there. They should have turned right. BlackVue user Szabolcs told us he thinks that the other car (the black sedan) wanted to turn right at the next intersection, but turned on their indicator too early. Which is why the VW driver thought he was good to go. The result – a pretty serious crash. Everything was captured by the BlackVue 4K UHD dash cam and could provide evidence in case there was any dispute among the drivers.
