Culprit denies hitting and running

BlackVue user Keith sent us the footage from his Cloud-enabled BlackVue dashcam (DR900X Plus series available here). In the video, his 2016 F Type Jaguar gets hit in an underground parking lot. The driver who hit Keith’s car simply left the scene, but thankfully his dashcam was recording. He confronted the driver – she tried to deny everything, but he showed her the footage.

The video was then forwarded to the police and the culprit’s insurance company, which will cover the damages. The incident happened just a couple of weeks ago, so the exact cost of repair is unknown at the moment, but it’s estimated between $5000 and $8000! With Cloud enabled, you are always able to check in on your car – in case of an impact, you will receive a push notification on your phone, and you can immediately check the Live View to see what’s happening.
