Our Customer sent us this video his BlackVue dash cam captured – of his car parked in a secured garage. The dash cam was recording in Parking Mode, meaning that even though the engine is off, the dash cam was still able to capture what was happening (Parking Mode is featured in all available BlackVue dash cams).

Thief caught going through multiple vehicles

In the footage we see a man rummaging through the BlackVue user belongings in the bed of his pickup truck. He finally selects a heavy case and proceeds to check other vehicles parked nearby – this was recorded by the front view camera of the dash cam. The thief was checking both doors and trucks of the cars.

Thanks to the video file, which the BlackVue user shared with the police, they were able to indentify and prosecute the culprit.
