Dashcam Footage Shows Young Driver Wasn’t At Fault! #CaughtOnBlackVue

BlackVue dashcam can be your silent eyewitness in case anything happens on the road.

Shifting the Blame

BlackVue user Katelyn was on her way to the grocery store with her husband. They stopped at an intersection and next thing they know, there is a loud crash! Two cars crashed in front of their eyes. Katelyn quickly called 911 to get first responders on the scene. Luckily nobody got seriously hurt, but something else unfolded – the Honda Accord’s driver tried to put the blame on the other, very young driver. They accused the inexperienced driver of running the red light instead of admitting the fault themselves.

Dashcam Shows the Truth

Thankfully Katelyn and her husband stuck around until the young driver’s parents and the police arrived. They pulled the dashcam footage (recorded by BlackVue’s 4K UHD dashcam) to show what happened. The video clearly showed that the young driver wasn’t at all at fault, despite the other driver claiming otherwise. Katelyn told us that, “Their parents were grateful that we had captured the innocent on camera to protect their child from what could have been a wrongful fault. “

You never know when a dashcam may come in handy.
