As so many things happen on the road, a dash cam is an important tool to have. Dash cam footage can serve as an important evidence of what happened.

Two versions of one story

Anonymous BlackVue user sent us the footage their dash cam (DR750X-2CH Plus model available here) captured while driving home. As they approached a white SUV stopped in the middle of the road suddenly moved, crashing into a van trying to drive past it. The BlackVue user parked and went to check on the drivers involved in the accident. At first, the SUV driver was blaming the van driver for not stopping and giving him way. At the same time the white van driver was arguing that the other car didn’t indicate and suddenly moved out.

Dash cam shows the truth

At that, the SUV driver claimed he used the turn signals to indicate, which – as shown by the footage captured by BlackVue dash cam – wasn’t true. As soon as the BlackVue user mentioned they got everything on camera, the SUV driver’s tune changed. They both received a copy of the video and the van driver was very thankful for the help.
