Traffic stopped on a highway

BlackVue user Roger sent us this footage from his older BlackVue dash cam (you can get the latest model from the simple dash cam lineup here). In the video he’s driving on a highway near Fermont, CA. Suddenly, the trafic came to a stop in the far left lane. A pickup truck was going too fast and wouldn’t have stopped in time.

Close call after crossing 3 lanes

To avoid hitting a white Tesla in front of them, the driver slammed on the brakes and swerved hard, cutting through 3 lanes of traffic all the way to the far right lane. Roger, who saw what was happening, accelerated and swerved just in time to avoid being hit, and potentially being pinned between the pickup truck and the wall.
