Famous for its tea plantation, Darjeeling is a city and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal. With its breathtaking views as a place at the foothill of the Himalayas, it was definitely worth a visit! This week the Last Overland team takes us on a Darjeeling city tour, where we discover atmospheric, foggy hills and narrow yet bustling city streets. The Last Overland was an epic trip from Singapore to London that took place in 2019. It was also a homage to the first overland expedition from London to Singapore back in 1955. The trip span over 111 days and 19,000 kilometres!
