Accidents happen. What shouldn’t happen is the culprit running from the scene of the accident.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened here – BlackVue user Ulrik sent us this video recorded by his BlackVue DR750S-2CH (available for purchase here). 

He was the victim of a hit & run – his parked vehicle was hit by another car’s open rear passenger door. The damages were estimated at $1,950 plus the cost of a rental car. Ulrik actually heard his car being hit, but it was too late by the time he got there, the culprit was gone.

Below are the pictures of the damages sent to us by Ulrik.

Thankfully, his DR750S-2CH was recording, and thanks to the footage the local police were able to identify who did it.

The accident ended amicably between the parties – the other person didn’t even know they hit someone at first – and everything is in the hands of their insurance companies now.
